Greetings!!!
It is indeed an honour and privilege for me to have been elected as
the Head Girl for the year 2018.It is rightly said that Waverley
is not just a school-it is a legacy and I am the living testament
of this great legacy. Like scores of students before me, I too
have had the proud privilege of having this school transform me
from a shy, timid and awkward girl to one who has poise, confidence
and charisma. Never had I ever imagined, when I first walked up the
slope to this “CITADEL” of Knowledge, that I would one day hold the
position of Head Girl-the most revered and respected position of all.
But, here I am today penning down these words as the new Head Girl. I
hope that I will be able to live up to the honour of my position and
uphold the ideals of this school at all costs.
Waverley is a school that opens your eyes to dreams and gives
the wings to reach the pinnacles of success. Coming to this
school has been the best decision that my parents made for
me and I will be forever grateful to them for this. This
school not only believes in academic excellence but also
instilling moral values into its students, to create global
citizens who are true to their roots and their culture. Waverley
is an institution that recognizes every child as a unique diamond
that must be polished to sparkle with brilliance. I am proud to be
a part of this esteemed institution and I hope and pray that every
student passing through her portals understands the value of the education
and life skills imparted here by the dynamic principal Sr. Stella and her
team of academicians.
May Waverley grow from strength to strength!
