LEAVE OF ABSENCE

Leave of absence may be granted to pupil for a sufficient cause, but only on previous application, in writing from the parents or guardians.
If a pupil is absent through illness or any other reasons the Principal must be informed at once, and the pupil on returning to school must bring an application from the parents or guardians stating the class and the reason of absence in case of illness, a "Fit to join" medical certificate is essential.
A pupil who is absent for a month without previously informing the Principal and obtaining her permission will have her name struck off the school register. The usual Entrance Fee is charged if she is readmitted. Pupils must return to school after the holidays on the appointed day and be present on the closing day of each term. Any breach of this rule will be punishable. In case of sickness the school authorities must be notified and a medical certificate produced. A fine of Rs. 500/- per day will be charged.
